Leica M8 Safari Edition

Leica has come out with a beautiful Safari limited edition version of their M8.2 camera model.

“It comes bundled with a 28mm F2.8 Summicron lens and a matching canvas and leather camera bag. The 10.3-million-pixel M8.2 is an updated version of the original M8, the firm’s first digital rangefinder camera, the prototype for which was auctioned off last summer. The Safari model features a matte green vulcanite finish body combined with brushed silver accents and a saddle leather strap.”
Only 500 pieces of the Safari edition will be made and they go for 10′000 USD.

Stones Throw Records x Kidrobot “Quasimoto” Vinyl

Following up on their collaboration a couple of years back, indie label Stones Throw hook up with vinyl purveyors kidrobot on a new “Quasimoto” figure to compliment the MF Doom “Mad Villain” release of 2007. Taking inspiration from “Quasimoto”, the alter-ego of musical Swiss Army knife Mad Lib, the figure will be featured in both a yellow and blue colorway with both being tagged as very limited releases. The eight inch cigarette holding figures are slated for a February 19th release at Kidrobot locations with a pre-order now up at stonesthrow
