This month will see the release of 2 new designer editions from Casio G-Shock timepiece collection. One created by the venerable East Village retailer, Dave’s Quality Meat (DQM), which was one of the few U.S. retailers selected to offer the special G-Shock 25th Anniversary Edition with director Spike Lee. The other is a second round collaboration by another G-Shock supporter; apparel label Lifted Research Group (LRG). Both limited editions are based on the DW-6900 model, a favorite among collaborators who appreciate its multi-function capabilities.

The DQM Edition (DW-6900DQM-7JR) will feature a bi-color casing of beige watch face and black brace. With an DQM engraved back plate, special packaging, and a DQM hologram EL (Electroluminescent) back light. The LRG Edition (DW-6900LRG-2AJR) will have a uniform aquamarine colorway imprinted with skateboarding giraffes from its Spring 2009 design theme “Feed The Animals”. Back plate is engraved with LRG ‘s logo while a holographic EL (Electroluminescent) back light will also feature a LRG “tree logo”.
